We step back in time to the 1920’s, Sweet Rose is out for an evening date with a tall, dark and handsome gentleman…the mystery destination? A Speakeasy tucked away in a part of town she has never ventured to before. What will the evening have in store for our beautiful Rose? Join us to find out. You will have to know the password to get by the door keeper, but don’t worry, we’ll fill you in when you register!
This year our Cissy doll is more limited then ever. We do not want anyone to be disappointed, so we have asked for a small window of opportunity in order to fine tune our doll purchase by offering potential attendees the chance to secure their doll order ahead of time. We have been able to keep our event registration fee to $275.00. This will include the beautiful Rose, entrance to the MADC Speakeasy where we will have a cash bar and “Happy Hour” reception complete with fun foods you love to nibble on when sharing a good time with friends. We will even make certain the place doesn’t get raided! There will be an option to attend without purchasing a doll, so if you want to bring a friend, it will be fine with us. The details for meal only will be in the registration packet going out next month (May).
Rose wears a lovely, elegantly styled dress inspired by the French fashion designer, Madeleine Vionnet. For those who love fashion, Vionnet, inventor of the bias cut, couturier to Dietrich and Garbo, is an icon. Alexander’s Marianne Graff, has created a wonderfully detailed outfit for Rose. She wears long gloves and pearl jewelry. This doll really has to be seen to appreciate the fine fabric and delicate trims.
